Franklin Recorder - 9/13/1882

Bennett Cole, one of the old settlers of Franklin County, died last Sunday (9/10/1882) at his residence in Reeve Township. Mr. Cole had been a resident of the county for about twenty-five years, and was in good circumstances. He was born in Onadago County, NY, November 16th, 1810, and was therefore 71 years, 9 months and 25 days old at the time of his death.  He is buried in the Maysville Cemetery.

(NOTE: His tombstone says he was born on 11/16/1809)
